(Beamishburn Road, Stanley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on up to a 2.44km length of Beamishburn Rd between its junc with Badgers Wood, Stanley and the Rd adj to the Causey Arch Inn, Causey to enable telecom pole renewal works to be undertaken. An alt route will be available to vehicular traffic via A6076. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8.30am on 28/9/2021 and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days between 8.30am and 6pm daily. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
