(A684 NEAR SEDBERGH) (TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable United Utilities to carry out utility works ("the Works), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour along that section of the A684 near Sedbergh from its junction with the A683 extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 500m.
No speed limit imposed by this Order will apply to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.

quoting the reference SLC2I/36. The Order will come into operation on 13 September 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for 3 days and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
