Parish of Milverton Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following temporary prohibition of vehicles as detailed in the Schedule to the Order.
This Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles in the road specified in the schedule to this Order. The proposed date of the closure is 1st October 2021 for 7 days. The restrictions will apply when indicated by traffic signs.
The works are expected to start on the 151 October 2021 until the 7lh October 2021.

Milverton Road, Wiveliscombe - From its junction with Quaking House Lane, south-westwards to its junction with Mouise Lane.
Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
c) the date on which the order would come into force and its maximum duration.
