Temporary Closure of Elm Grove Cycle Path
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Elm Grove Cycle Path - from the Junction with Staplegrove Road, eastwards for a total distance of 7 metres
This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre Ltd to carry out ducting and chamber works.
The Order becomes effective on 9 September 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 13 September 2021 and last until 15 September 2021 between the hours of (08:00 -17:00) for a total of 3 days.
There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and business directly to discuss access arrangements.
