Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Brize Norton, Footpath 143/3/10
Closure Date of Order: 20 September 2021
Coming into force: 27 September 2021
This Order Is being Introduced because of housing development works which are anticipated to be completed on 1 October 2025.The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of Footpath 143/3/10 between Burford Road and Carterton Road. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route is via the signed pedestrian diversion route. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until October 2025, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T9229/RAG)

Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 6 September 2021
Coming into force: 17 September 2021
This Order is being introduced because of water main connection works which are anticipated to be completed on 30 September 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of West End between No. 78 and its junction with Hailey Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services, the Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Woodstock Road, New Yatt Road, New Yatt Lane, Hatfield Pitts Lane, High Street, Witney Road, Hailey Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T9198/RAG)

Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 6 September 2021
Coming into force: 13 September 2021
This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed on 20 September 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Lower Road between its junction with A40 and Church Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via A40 Cassington, A44 Woodstock Road A34 Interchange, A44, A4095, Lower Road and vice versa
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Rsf. RAG/T9157)
