TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -CLERMONT ROAD, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Clermont Road, Brighton from its junction with Clermont Terrace to Preston Park Train Station, except for access only.
2. The Order is necessary to allow Railway Passengers to be safely diverted to Preston Park Train Station during a blockade on the Railway line between Brighton Train Station and Hove Train Station, during essential maintenance to the Railway.
3. Pedestrian and Residential access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 18 September 2021 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is estimated to be 2 October 2021.
