NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
THE HYDRECO HYDRAULICS PENSION PLAN ("THE PLAN") WIND-UP
This notice is addressed to former and current members and beneficiaries of the Plan listed above. The Plan was established in December 2015 and received a transfer of assets and liabilities from the DB Union Pension Plan in respect of those persons whose accrued rights under the DB Union Pension Plan were to transferred to the Plan under the terms of the DB Union Pension Plan Transfer Terms.
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the wind-up of the Plan commenced on 28 June 2021. This follows the transfer of the bulk of the assets and liabilities of the Plan on 20 July 2020 to another pension scheme operated by Hydreco Hydraulics Limited (the Hydreco Hydraulics Section of the Deloitte Pensions Master Plan). Through this notice the Trustee is aiming to establish whether there are any missing beneficiaries of whom the Trustee are unaware.
You should therefore contact the Trustee if you believe you may be a missing beneficiary. You would need to be:
* an employee or former employee of Hydreco Hydraulics Limited who believes that he or she is still a member of the Plan (and in particular has not transferred the Plan benefit to another pension arrangement), or
* a person who believes themselves to be a beneficiary of the Plan as the spouse or dependent of a deceased member of the Plan, or
* any other person who believes they have a claim against or an interest in the Plan.

Please include your name, National Insurance number, current address and details of your claim. You must contact the Trustee within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice. After the expiry of the 2-month period, the Trustee will proceed to wind-up the Scheme having regard only to claims of which they then have notice. The Trustee will not be liable to any person of whose claim they have not had notice.
If you are already received correspondence from the Trustee in respect of the transfer to the Hydreco Hydraulics Section of the Deloitte Pensions Master Plan, you do not need to write to the Trustee as they already have details about your entitlements.
