(A721 Netherurd) (Temporary Speed Restriction) Order 2021
The Scottish Borders Council (A721 Netherurd) (Temporary Speed Restriction) Order 2021 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:30 on 6 September 2021 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of three weeks-24 hour restriction. The Order is required to ensure a safe working environment while bridge repair works are being carried out. When the Order comes into effect a 30mph speed restriction will be in force on the A721 Netherurd at Sunnyacres Bridge, Blyth Bridge from a point 50 metres west of the bridge eastwards for 100 metres.
