(PRITTLEWELL CHASE WESTCLIFF-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY)
ORDER 2021 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)
Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order to temporarily close the section of the eastbound carriageway of Prittlewell Chase from its junction with Eastbourne Grove to its junction with Carlingford Drive. The closures are scheduled to commence from 6th September 2021 from 19.30 Hours to 23.00 Hours or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. Whilst the works take place a diversion route for the closure of the road will be signed on site via Carlton Avenue, Westbourne Grove and Fairfax Drive. The Order will come into effect on 2nd August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The closure is required for highway/reinstatement works in the carriageway
The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL DIRECTIONS 2016
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004
(QUEENSWAY UNDERPASS SOUTHEND-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY)
ORDER 2021 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)
Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order - To temporarily prohibit entry into the Southbound carriageway of Queensway Underpass The closures/suspensions are scheduled to take place from 8th September 2021 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures/suspensions will be signed in advance of the works commencing and diversion routes will also be signed on site, directing traffic along the slip road to Porters Grange Roundabout across the roundabout re-joining Queensway at the end of the underpass. Northbound traffic will not be affected by the closure. The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The closures/suspensions are required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst the monitoring equipment is removed on the southbound section of the underpass.

(WESTERN ESPLANADE SOUTHEND-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ENTRY)
ORDER 2021 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)
Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order to temporarily close the section of the eastbound carriageway of Western Esplanade from its junction with Chalkwell Avenue to its junction with Marine Parade/Pier Hill& closure of northern footway from the zebra crossing east of the Genting Casino and the 2 phase signalled crossing at the Pier.

Whilst the works take place a diversion route will be signed on site from Chalkwell Avenue via First Avenue, Crowstone Avenue, Station Road, Westcliff Avenue, Cambridge Road, Scratton Road, Clarence Road, Alexandra Street, Heygate Avenue, Church Road, Chancellor Road, Queensway and Southchurch Avenue. Residents and Business Access will be maintained. The Order will come into effect on 2nd August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The closure is required for the removal of a site cabins by crane on site for works at the "former Marriotts Fish Bar".
