Abridge Holy Trinity (Diocese of Chelmsford) The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft scheme providing for the sale of the closed church building of Abridge Holy Trinity and part of the annexed land for use for community, residential and office uses and for occasional acts of worship in accordance with the rites and customs of the Church of England, or any other Christian body designated by the Bishop for the time being of Chelmsford and ancillary purposes.

A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected on the door of the closed church of Abridge Holy Trinity, Ongar Road, Abridge, Essex RM4 1 UP. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners' website at

or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours at the Church Commissioners' office by applying to Karen Abaka-Wood. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request.
