(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.21) Order 2021
Further to the notice published on 23 August 2019 the Essex County Council Intends to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45,46,49,53,84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of roads, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
High Road
WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres south west of the southernextended kerb line with School Avenue, in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 44 metres.
School Avenue
SOUTH WEST SIDE:
i. From its junction with High Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 189.8 metres.
ii. From the eastern extended kerb line with the north western end of Academy Drive, in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 44.5 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 58 metres norm of the north west extended kerb line of the north western junction with Academy Drive, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 70.3 metres.
iv. From the north western extended kerb line with the north western end of Scholars Crescent in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 14.6 metres.
v. From a point approximately 110.8 metres east of the eastern extended kerb line of Stamford Drive, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 414.6 metres.
NORTH EAST SIDE:
i. From the junction with High Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 78.8 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 31.9 metres west from the western extended kerb line of the south eastern junction with College Lane, in a north westerly direction for approximately 44.8 metres.
iii. From the south eastern extended kerb line of the north western end of College Lane, in a south easterly direction for approximately 57 metres.
iv. From a point approximately 67 metres south from the south eastern extended kerb line of the south eastern junction of Masters Crescent, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 87.2 metres.
v. From a point approximately 77 metres south east from the south eastern extended kerb line of the north western end of Masters Crescent, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 164.8 metres.
vi. From a point approximately 15.8 metres south east from the south eastern extended kerb line of the north eastern end of Warwick Crescent, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 36.8 metres.
vii. From a point approximately 70.5 metres west of the western extended kerb line of the western end of Warwick Crescent, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 39.6 metres.
viii. From a point approximately 11.5 metres south east from the south eastern extended kerb line with the School Avenue Private Access Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 37.3 metres.
Masters Crescent
BOTH SIDES:
i. From the junction with School Avenue (south eastern end), north east for approximately 10 metres.
ii. From the junction with School Avenue (north western end), north east for approximately 10 metres.
Warwick Crescent
BOTH SIDES: From its eastern junction with School Avenue, north east for approximately 16.5 metres.
Tonbridge Drive
BOTH SIDES: From the junction with School Avenue, south west for approximately 10 metres.
School Avenue Private
BOTH SIDES: From the junction with School Avenue, north east for Access Road approximately 10 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by introducing tile numbers TQ670 897 Revision 0 and substituting TQ670 900, TQ675 897 and TQ675 895 Revision 1 to Revision 2.
(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.15) Order 2021
Notice hereby given that the Essex County Council Has Made the above Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 32(1), 35(1), 45,46,46,49,53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To implement No Waiting at any Time on the South Side of Leinster Road, from a point approximately 15 metres west of its junction with Markhams Chase, in a westerly direction for approximately 10 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting,
Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019
by substituting tile numbers TQ685 887 revision 1 for revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 27 August 2021.

(Bruton Link, Dulwich Avenue, Roedean Crescent, Stamford Drive, Tonbridge Drive, Warwick Crescent, Basildon) (20mph Zone) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To formalise the 20mph Zone on the following lengths of roads, in the Borough of Basildon:

(Canewdon Road, Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ellesmere Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS50630 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Canewdon Road, Lark Hill Road, Scotts Hall Road, Apton Hall Road, Brays Lane, Ashingdon Road, Canewdon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chelmsford Road & Fairglen Interchange, Rayleigh) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction in that length of Chelmsford Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Fairglen Interchange to its junction with Carpenters Arms Roundabout, a distance of approximately 1215m (both sides of the carriageway).
2. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction in that length of Fairglen Interchange, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 120m in a southerly direction.
The restriction is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2021 for 82 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005434 - Walker Construction). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of tlie public and workforce while carriageway widening works are undertaken by Walker Construction. The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Barling Road, Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barling Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 940m south west of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS82425 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Barling Road, Little Wakering Road, Barrow Hall Road, Barling Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 19th August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until trie works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Branksome Avenue & Appleyard Avenue, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Branksome Avenue in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Plumberow Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Appleyard Avenue, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Plumberow Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 30th August 2021 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001077345 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
Alternative routes are available via
1. Branksome Avenue, Ash Way, Russet Way, Peach Avenue, Orchard Avenue, Plumberow Avenue and vice versa.
2. Appleyard Avenue, Plumberow Mount Avenue, Plumberow Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 19th August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.6) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 19th August 2021, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
