(CHAPEL STREET, STANHOPE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 45m of Chapel St that extends westerly from its junction with Dunsfiekl Farm Estate, Stanhope to enable new sewer chamber construction works to be undertaken. Alt route from the western side of the closure from Cross Hill onto A689 then easterly and northerly on Church Ln and westerly on High St to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8.30am on 13/9/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
