Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Definitive Map Modification No. 680 Footpaths 23 and 24 Wivenhoe, (Colchester District) Order 2021
The above Order made on 15 July 2021 If confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-
1. Adding a length of Footpath 23 Wivenhoe along Ballast Quay Road from its junction with Anglesea Road in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 310 metres to its junction with Footpath 24. From here it proceeds on a north easterly then northerly direction for a distance of approximately 295 metres the junction with Bowes Road. The width of the way is the whole of the area shaded grey on Plan 2 attached to the order (with the proviso that any roadside ditch would not form part of the highway) and varies between 4 and 7.5 metres.

2. Adding a length of Footpath 24 Wivenhoe from Ballast Quay Road in a generally north easterly direction along the Farm Track for a distance of 214 metres then turning easterly for 341 metres to join Arlesford Road opposite the entrance to Footpath 16 Elmstead. The width of the way is three metres.

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge by appointment during normal office hours at Colchester Borough Council, Rowan House, Sheepen Road, Colchester, Essex C03 3WG and during opening hours at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford CM11QH where copies will be available on request at a charge.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM11QH, to arrive not later than Friday 1 st October 2021, and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it

(B1033 Colchester Road, Weeley) (Temporary 30mph
Speed Limit) (Proper Fest) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Effect of the order To temporarily introduce a 30mph Speed Limit on B1033 Colchester Road, from its junction with the A133/B1033 Weeley services roundabout, east to its junction with the B1033/ B1441 roundabout.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on the 28/08/2021 for 3 days between the hours of 8:30am-11.50pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and are required for the duration of the Clacton Family, Proper Fest and Weeley Tribute festivals being held over 3 consecutive days at Hawk Fruit Farm, Weeley. The restriction is required in order to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public and in particular, as a result of the events in progress, pedestrians walking along the verges and the edge of the carriageway, particularly in the evenings. The Orders will come into operation on 28/08/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the events have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation at 6am on Saturday 28th August 2021 and will continue in force until 11 pm on Saturday 28th August 2021.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bateman Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 20m east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th September 2021 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM59121484 -Anglian Water). that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of Boxted Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Nayland Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Nayland Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Nayland Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 35m in a south westerly direction.

(Circular Road West, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic (Southbound only) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Circular Road West, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Richmond Road to its junction with Circular Road South a distance of approximately 90m (Southbound only). The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2021 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001070765 -Cadent). that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of The Green, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Rush Green Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a southerly direction (Phase 1).
2 To temporarily close that length of The Green, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Rush Green Road for a distance of approximately 132m in an easterly direction (Phase 2). Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Keelars Lane, Elmstead/Wivenhoe in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 500m north east of its junction with Alresford Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2021 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005309 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. (Station Road, Thorrington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Thorrington in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Great Bentley Road a distance of approximately 30m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th September 2021 for 1 night (01:30-07:30), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735C0C-59-45-190921 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close that length of Bourne Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Military Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Military Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Military Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a northerly direction.

3. To temporarily close that length of Wimpole Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Bourne Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Thorrington in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 40m north west of its junction with Clacton Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC3K597K - Openreach). (Crowhurst Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Crowhurst Road/Rawstorn Road & Popes Lane, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Crowhurst Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Popes Lane for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Popes Lane, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Rawstom Road to its junction with Crowhurst Road as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Popes Lane, Manor Road etc) (One Way) Order 1976' for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

3. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length Crowhurst Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Popes Lane to its junction with Manor Road as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Popes Lane, Manor Road etc) (One Way) Order 1976' for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

4. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length in that length of Rawstom Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Popes Lane to its junction with Papillon Road as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Popes Lane, Manor Road etc) (One Way) Order 1976' for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th September 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30022034339 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while link box replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Balkerne Hill, Maldon Road Roundabout, Papillon Road, Rawstom Road, Southway, St Marys Fields and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with East Bay to its junction with Ipswich Road a distance of approximately 195m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd September 2021 from (19:00) to 6th September 2021 (05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003223 - Essex County Council).
