The benefice of Saint Andrew with Saint Anne, Auckland and the benefice of Saint Peter, Auckland in the diocese of Durham The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft Pastoral Church Buildings Scheme for, inter alia, the union of the benefice of Saint Andrew with Saint Anne, Auckland and the benefice of Saint Peter, Auckland and their constituent parishes; the parish churches of the parish of Saint Andrew with Saint Anne, Auckland to be parish churches of the new parish and for the parish church of the parish of Saint Peter, Auckland to be declared closed for regular public worship. You may obtain a copy of the draft Scheme from the Church Commissioners’ office in Church House, Great Smith Street, London SW1P 3AZ, see it on our website at www.ccpastoral.org/consultation or inspect it at at the parish churches of the parishes of the above mentioned benefices.
