ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Waiting Restriction
Niton Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a petrol station refurbishment they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Niton Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Niton Road outside the Shell Petrol Station. On the eastern side from a point 10 metres north of the norther kerb-line of Lower Richmond Road, northwards for a distance of 20 metres. On the western side from a point 11 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Lower Richmond Road to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 5 and 7 Niton Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 23 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 23 August 2021 until 21 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure
East Sheen Avenue, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in East Sheen Avenue, East Sheen.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in East Sheen Avenue between its junctions with Vicarage Road and Park Avenue. The works will be carried out in four phases on a rolling programme.

3. The order will come into effect on 30 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 30 August 201 until 11 October 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Upper Richmond Road West, Palewell Park and Vicarage Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Ferry Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate an electrical connection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ferry Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Ferry Road between its junctions with Sion Road and Little Ferry Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 31 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 31 August 201 until 3 September 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sion Road and Riverside.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in various streets.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The restrictions will operate on a rolling basis.

3. The order will come into effect on 1 September 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 1 September 2021 until 25 January 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or
utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

North Worple Way, Mortlake

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate an electrical connection they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in North Worple Way, Mortlake.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in North Worple Way between its junctions with Alder Way and Victoria Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 26 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force between 07.00 and 18.00 on 26 August 2021 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Alder Road, Sheen Lane, Mortlake High Street back down to Avondale Road and North Worple Way and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
