CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BIRDHURST ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works by Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic Birdhurst Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Birdhurst Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 24 and 26 and Nos. 38/40 and 42 Birdhurst Road.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Birdhurst Road and Birdhurst Rise, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 06 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS GLADE GARDENS, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water service connection works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Glade Gardens, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Glade Gardens will be closed outside Nos. 4 to 6 Glade Gardens.
3. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out with four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WOODCOTE VALLEY ROAD & PURLEY KNOLL, PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new sewer connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Woodcote Valley Road, Purley, and parking in Purley Knoll, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place;
(a) Woodcote Valley Road will be closed at its junction with Purley Knoll;
(b) Parking will be suspended in Purley Knoll and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the following locations:-
(i) On the north-east (even numbered) side between its junction with Woodcote Valley Road and a point 31 metres south-east of that junction;
(ii) On the south-west (odd numbered) side between its junction with Woodcote Valley Road and a point 26 metres south-east of that junction.
3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Woodcote Valley Road, Foxley Lane, A22, A29, Brighton Road, Grovelands Road and Woodcote Valley Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BYNES ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of BT to upgrade equipment, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Bynes Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Bynes Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides outside No. 69 Bynes Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 26 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IVERS WAY, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ivers Way, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place both the carriageway and footway in Ivers Way will be closed between the common boundary of Nos. 8 and 10 Ivers Way and the south-western wall of No. 8 Ivers Way.
3. During the works alternate footways will be closed and pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway or to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 23 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 August 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) Any vehicle involved in the said works;
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING ALTON ROAD, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas main connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Alton Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Alton Road will be closed outside No. 41 Alton Road.
(b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply on both sides of Alton Road for approximately four car spaces (or a distance of 20 metres) from a point 6 metres south-west of the south-western boundary of No. 41 Alton Road to a point 6 metres north-east of the north-eastern boundary of No. 41 Alton Road.
3. During the works the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
(a) Purley Way, northbound traffic: Purley Way, Waddon Road, Epsom Road, Purley Way.
(b) Purley Way, southbound traffic: Purley Way, Epsom Road, Waddon Road, Purley Way.
(c) Waddon Park Avenue, southbound traffic: Waddon Park Avenue, Purley Way
4. The Order will come into operation on the 20 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a sewer connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Higher Drive, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed outside No. 90a Higher Drive.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
(a) Northbound on Higher Drive - diversion route via Higher Drive, Cullesden Road, Firs Road, Park Road, Oaks Road and Northwood Avenue.
(b) Southbound on Higher Drive - diversion route via Northwood Avenue, Oaks Road, Park Road, Firs Road, Cullesden Road and Higher Drive.
4. The Order will come into operation on 20 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 11 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new electrical connection, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Union Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) Union Road will be closed between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the north-western boundary of No.3 Union Road;
(b) One-way working in the remainder of Union Road will be suspended to allow two way traffic;
(c) Parking in Union Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the north-western boundary of No.3 Union Road.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via Whitehorse Road and Union Road, or via Whitehorse Road, St James's Road, Hogarth Crescent, Whitehorse Road and Union Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas utility works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Handcraft Road and Bishop's Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Handcraft Road will be closed between its junction with Sumner Road and the northern boundary of No. 167 Handcraft Road;
(b) Parking bays in Bishop's Road will be suspended;
(c) One-way working in Bishop's Road will be suspended and two-way traffic will apply.
3. Whilst the closure is in operation traffic will be diverted via Sumner Road, Longley Road and Bishop's Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 03 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
