Parish of Langford Budville Temporary Closure of Ritherdons Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ritherdons Lane for a distance of 750 metres. This Order will enable Barden to carry out works on behalf of BT Openreach and Telent to install new fibre cabling.

The Order becomes effective on 12th August 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 16th August 2021 and last until 20th August 2021 between the hours of (08:00 -18:00) for a total of 5 days. Please visit
