BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 18, Longwick-cum-Ilmer) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 18, Longwick-cum-Ilmer, from the former Shoulder of Mutton pub for a distance of approximately 60 metres to the existing sty on the east boundary. The closure is required whilst improvement works to the public right of way take place commencing on 1 August 2021 for 6 months. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via Public Bridleway No. 19, Longwick-cum-Ilmer. The Order came into operation on 1 August 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpaths Nos. 6 and 7, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 6, Gerrards Cross, from Orchehill Avenue to Orchehill Rise and, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 7, Gerrards Cross, from Layters Way to Public Footpath No. 6. The closure is required whilst works to replace the existing railway footbridge take place commencing on 2 August 2021 for 16 weeks. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via the existing highway network. The Order came into operation on 2 August 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Oak End Way, Gerrards Cross in the Parish of Gerrards Cross CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Oak End Way from junction of Packhorse Road for approximately 1 Om. Alternative route: Marsham Lane, Oak End Way, Packhorse Road, Station Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works to assist on Packhorse Road take place commencing on 10 August 2021. Road will remain closed for the duration. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 August 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
