CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 COOMBE LANE, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Openreach works to the overhead network they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Coombe Lane.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking in Coombe Lane will be closed at its junction with Oaks Road.

3. During the closure, the alternative route for traffic will be via Oaks Road and Shirley Hills Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 11 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 13 August 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction will not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS MELROSE AVENUE, NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electrical connection works on behalf of UKPN they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Melrose Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Melrose Avenue will be closed outside No.13 Melrose Avenue.

3. During the works the alternative routes for traffic will be as specified below and appropriately signed.

a) Via Melrose Avenue, London Road, Ederline Avenue, Dunbar Avenue and reversed; or

b) Via London Road and Kilmartin Avenue; or

c) Via Melrose Avenue, Dunbar Avenue, Ederline Avenue and London Road.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 09 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC WINGATE CRESCENT, CROYDON

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Wingate Crescent, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Wingate Crescent will be closed between the junction with Mitcham Road and the north-eastern boundary of No. 1 a Wingate Crescent.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 09 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 August 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) Any vehicle involved in the said works;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas main connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Alton Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Alton Road will be closed outside No. 41 Alton Road.

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply on both sides of Alton Road for approximately four car spaces (or a distance of 20 metres) from a point 6 metres south-west of the south-western boundary of No. 41 Alton Road to a point 6 metres north-east of the north-eastern boundary of No. 41 Alton Road.

3. During the works the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.

- Purley Way, northbound traffic: Purley Way, Waddon Road, Epsom Road, Purley Way.
- Purley Way, southbound traffic: Purley Way, Epsom Road, Waddon Road, Purley Way.
- Waddon Park Avenue, southbound traffic: Waddon Park Avenue, Purley Way

4. The Order will come into operation on the 20 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

6. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BYNES ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of BT to upgrade equipment, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Bynes Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Bynes Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides outside No. 69 Bynes Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 26 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water service connection works they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Glade Gardens, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Glade Gardens will be closed outside Nos. 4 to 6 Glade Gardens.

3. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out with four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a sewer connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Higher Drive, Purley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed outside No. 90a Higher Drive.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.

- Northbound on Higher Drive - diversion route via Higher Drive, Cullesden Road, Firs Road, Park Road, Oaks Road and Northwood Avenue.

- Southbound on Higher Drive - diversion route via Northwood Avenue, Oaks Road, Park Road, Firs Road, Cullesden Road and Higher Drive.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 11 days. However, the Order will remain In force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IVERS WAY, CROYDON

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ivers Way, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place both the carriageway and footway in Ivers Way will be closed between the common boundary of Nos. 8 and 10 Ivers Way and the south-western wall of No. 8 Ivers Way.

3. During the works alternate footways will be closed and pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway or to the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 23 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 August 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) Any vehicle involved in the said works;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new electrical connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements and parking in Union Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Union Road will be closed between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the north-western boundary of No.3 Union Road;

b) One-way working in the remainder of Union Road will be suspended to allow two way traffic;

c) Parking in Union Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the north-western boundary of No.3 Union Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via Whitehorse Road and Union Road, or via Whitehorse Road, St James's Road, Hogarth Crescent, Whitehorse Road and Union Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
