ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -THE DROVEWAY, HOVE
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect-

(a) The Temporary Closure of The Droveway, Hove, from its junction with Dyke Road to the entrance of Lancing College Preparatory School
2. The Order is necessary to allow Southern Water's contractors to carry out essential works on a Sluice Valve and water main.

3. A signed diversion route will be in place for Vehicular traffic, and Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. This Order comes into force on 16 August 2021 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 27 August 2021.
