NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE LAND
In accordance with the provisions of section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 notice is given that Copeland Borough Council intends to lease land off Gameriggs Road, Greenbank,Whitehaven, CA28 9RA previously used as a playing pitch. It is intended that the land will be used for recreation purposes, including sport, by a local community centre and football club. A copy of this notice together with a plan showing the location of the affected land is displayed in the front window of the Copeland Borough Council offices, The Market Hall, The Market Place, Whitehaven, Cumbria CA28 7JG. Any objections regarding the intended disposal should be made in writing to Clinton Boyce, Solicitor, The Market Hall, The Market Place, Whitehaven, Cumbria CA28 7JG or by e mail to clinton.boyce@copeland.gov.uk. Objections must be received no later than on 12.00 noon on Friday 20th August 2021.
