The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 20 August 2021 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Creenhill, Corsham; from its junction with Westwells to its junction with Moor Green to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out laying of cables, building of chambers and cabinets. Alternative route via Moor Green, Westwells and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 August 2021 and the closure will be required for 5 days. B) Forest Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Craybourne Road to enable Wessex Water to carry out a new sewer connection. Alternative route southbound via Littlejohn Avenue, Methuen Avenue, Awdry Avenue and vice versa. Alternative route northbound via Church Lane, A3102, Forest Road and vice versa. C) B3353 Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Newlands Road to its junction with Pound Pill to enable Cigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay fibre optic cabling for Gigaclear. Alternative route via B3353 (unaffected length), A350, A4, B3353 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 August 2021 and the closure will be required until 03 September 2021. D) Bratton Road (Part), West Ashton; from outside the property known as 31A Bratton Road, West Ashton to outside the property known as 49 Bratton Road, West Ashton to enable Wessex Water to carry out Manhole cover replacement and associated works. Alternative Route via Bratton Road (unaffected length) A350 - Bitham Park- B3098 -C219 - C49 - Bratton Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 August 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 2 days. E) Newtown (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Conigre Hill to its junction with Wine Street to enable Openreach to carry out works to access joint boxes to repair cable. Alternative route via Newtown, Masons Lane, Bath Road, Winsley Road, Bradford Road, Turleigh Hill, Turleigh, Belcombe Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 August 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 for 2 nights. F) A3098 (Part), Dilton Marsh, Upton Scudamore and Chapmanslade; from its junction with Hisomley Crossroads to its junction with A36 Thoulstone to enable BT to carry out safe working zones. This Order will come into operation on 24 August 2021 and the speed limit restrictions will be required until 26 August 2021. G) Elley Green (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Leafield Way to its junction with Lypiatt Road;
H) Lypiatt, Corsham; from its junction with Elley Green to its junction with Rough Street to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out laying of cables, build chambers and cabinets. Alternative route: via Elley Green (unaffected length) - Leafield Road - Church Rise -Locks Cross - Brockleaze - Rough Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 August 2021 and the closure will be required until 09 August 2021. I) Dew Close, Corsham; from its junction with Lypiatt Mead for its entire length to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cables, build chambers and cabinets. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 02 August 2021 and the closure will be required until 13 August 2021. j) Eastbourne Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with A361 to its junction with Eastbourne Gardens;
K) Eastbourne Gardens, Trowbridge; from its junction with Eastbourne Road to its junction with Ashton Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out resurfacing works. Alternative route via A361, West Ashton Road, Green Lane, Paxcroft Way, Lark Down, Ashton Street and vice versa.
This Order which previously came into force on 02 December 2020 will now recommence on 06 August 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 09 August 2021. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.

Orders A) to I) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Orders J) to K) have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures, diversion routes and speed limit restrictions, where applicable, will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
