(Steeple Road, Southminster) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To extend the existing 30mph speed limit on Steeple Road, Southminster In the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 16 metres north from the northern property boundary of number 31 Steeple Road, in a northerly direction for approximately 105 metres (this section of mad Is currently National Speed Limit).

(Various Roads, Limebrook Way, Ben Cobey Avenue, A414 Wycke Hill Roundabout) (20mph Zone & 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and Parts III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 20 mph zone on the following lengths of roads:-
Road Description
Ben Cobey Avenue From Its junction with A414 Wycke Hill roundabout from a distance of approximately 31 metres, east of the roundabout, for its entire length.
Embleton Close From its junction with Ben Cobey Avenue for its entire length.
Corbett Place From its junction with Ben Cobey Avenue for its entire length.
Mons Way From its junction with Ben Cobey Avenue for its entire length.
To extend the existing 40mph speed limit on Ben Cobey Aveue, from its junction with the A414 Wycke Hill roundabout, eastwards tor a distance of approximately 31 metres.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 30 July 2021.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Church Lane, Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 270m south west of the junction with Wash Lane for a distance of approximately 160m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2021 tor 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWCGPWP2D001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Church Lane, School Road, Park Wood Lane, Church Road, Sheepcoates Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hackmans Lane, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hackmans Lane, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 565m south east of its junction with Birchwood Road for a distance of approximately 330m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS236958A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Hackmans Lane, Marlpits Road, Bumham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Fambridge Road, Latchingdon Road, Stow Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5th August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chelmsford Road & Lodge Lane, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Chelmsford Road, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Barons Lane for a distance of approximately 1200m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Lodge Lane, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a westerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 2nd August 2021 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5001ESS006712 - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd. An alternative route is available via Barons Lane, Fambridge Road, Limebrook Way, Wycke Hill, Maldon Road, Oak Corner, Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 29th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Grange Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grange Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 41 Om east of its junction with Wickham Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 115m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS261597 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Grange Road, Wickham Hall Lane, Station Road, Church Road, Blacksmiths Lane, Roots Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 22nd July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Green Lane, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 130m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA71215558B - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required tor the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. (Hoe Mill Bridge, The Causeway, Woodham Walter) (Temporary Introduction of 2m Width Restriction) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily introduce a 2m width restriction on Hoe Mill Bridge in that length of The Causeway, Woodham Walter in the District of Maldon. The restriction is scheduled to continue from 26th July for 547 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003259 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required to enforce the weight restriction on the bridge. An alternative route is available via Chelmsford Road, Church Hill, Crouchmans Farm Road, Hatfield Road, Herbage Park Road, Heybridge Approach, Hoe Mill Road, Langford Road, Langford Road Roundabout, Limebrook Roundabout, London Road, Maldon Bypass, Maldon Road, Manor Road, Oak Comer, Old London Road, Pond Roundabout, Rectory Road, Southend Road, Spital Road, Spital Road Roundabout, The Causeway, The Green, The Street, lilting Road, Wycke Hill, Wycke Hill Business Park and vice versa. (Rectory Lane, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Lower Bumham Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA50682979B - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tolleshunt D'arcy Road, Tolleshunt Major in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 240m east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 365m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th August 2021 for 4 nights (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC00821JUNWC2T637K - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cable works are undertaken by Openreach.
