ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - BRUNSWICK STREET EAST
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect-fa) The temporary closure of Brunswick Street
East from its junction with Waterloo Street eastwards for approximately 30 metres, (b) To maintain access to premises and to provide an alternative route for local traffic the existing one-way order in the remainder of Brunswick Street East will be suspended.
2. The Order is necessary to allow relay sewers works take place in the carriageway.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 9 August 2021 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
