Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4349 From Arkstone Court Road To A465, Clehonger, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4349 From Arkstone Court Road To A465, Clehonger, 50 metres westwards of the entrance to Smallbrook Farm. Grid Ref: 344086/237283. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4349 onto the B4348, onto the A465, onto the B4349 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to bridge saddling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th of August 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months(unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 weeks.
