Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Braintree Road, Great Bardfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with Bendlowes Road a distance of approximately 230m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th August 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2312577 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway, kerbing and drainage repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Brook Street, High Street, Dunmow Road, Oxen End, Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Dunmow Road From Bran End To Broadway, The Broadway, St Edmunds Lane, Braintree Road, Dunmow Bypass, Blake End, The Street, Piccotts Lane, Bardfield Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 22nd July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
