ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Mary's Terrace and Station Road, Twickenham
(Ref: 21/112)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate trial hole works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Marys Terrace and Station Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place

(a) no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in the following roads: -

(i) Station Road - the north to south arm outside the Albany Public House.

(ii) Mary's Terrace at its junction with Station Yard.

(b) No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of road: -

(i) Station Yard between its junctions with Railway Approach and Station Road.

(ii) Station Road, the north to south arm, outside the Albany Public House.

3. Whilst Station Road is closed, an alternative route for traffic will be available via Queens Road and Station Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 26 July 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 26 July 2021 until 16 August 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Mullins Path, Mortlake
(Ref: 21/107)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway remedial works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Mullins Path, Mortlake.

2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Mullins Path from a point outside No. 5 Mullins Path to a point outside No. 18 Mullins Path where relevant signs and/or cones are placed.

3. Whilst Mullins Path is closed, an alternative route for traffic will be available via Victoria Way and North Worple Way.

4. The order will come into effect on 20 July 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress for a period of 3 days, i.e. until 22 July 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Waiting Restrictions Church Street, Hampton
(Ref: 21/113)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repairs they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a waiting restriction in Church Street, Hampton.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Church Street, Hampton from a point outside No. 4 Church Street to a point outside No. 14 Church Street.

3. The order will come into effect on 26 July 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 26 July 2021 until 6 August 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Station Road, Hampton Wick
(Ref: 21/108)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a parking suspension in Station Road, Hampton Wick.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following bays: -

(a) Station Road, Hampton Wick, the eastern arm, the south side, from a point 8 metres west of the western flank wall of No. 14 Station Road, to a point 12 metres east of its junction with Seymour Road;

(b) Station Road, Hampton Wick, the eastern arm, the south side, from a point 36 metres west of its junction with Teddington Road, eastwards for a distance of 6 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 15 July 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress for a period of approximately 7 weeks, i.e. until 31 August 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Suspension Suffolk Road, Barnes
(Ref: 21/114)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate building works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a parking suspension in Suffolk Road, Barnes.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Suffolk Road, on its southern side, from a point 10 metres east of its junction with Lowther Road, eastwards for a distance of 15 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 26 July 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 26 July 2021 until 30 September 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a waiting restriction in Hanworth Road and Simpson Road, Whitton.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the following lengths of road: -

(a) Hanworth Road, the south side, from a point outside No. 586a Hanworth Road to a point outside No. 612 Hanworth Road;

(b) Simpson Road, the from its junction with Hanworth Road to the end of the cul de sac,

3. The order will come into effect on 19 July 2021. The works are anticipated to be in progress for a period of approximately 5 weeks, i.e. until 20 August 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

(Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (No. 3) Experimental Order 2021
NELSON ROAD SERVICE ROAD, WHITTON
(Reference 21/115)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 July 2021 made the above Order under sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restrictions Order is to introduce waiting restriction in the Nelson Road Service Road, Whitton. Waiting restrictions operating at any time will be introduced around the junction of Nelson Gardens, on the western side of the service road and outside No. 372 Belson Road, Single yellow lines, operating between 10am and 2pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive will be introduced on the eastern side of the service road and in Nelson Road, opposite the junction of Nelson Gardens.

3. Copies of the Order which come into force on 26 July 2021, a plan showing the location and effect of the Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21/115, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director -Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, as the specified officer, or some person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the areas through which the roads affected by the Order run, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.

5. If the provisions of the Order continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such an Order for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above (i.e. 26 January 2022) send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.

7. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
