(BROOMSIDE LANE, CARRVILLE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 565m of Broomside Ln between its junctions with High St and Brackendale Rd, Carrville to enable gas main cover repair works to be undertaken. Alt route from the western side of the closure from Broomside Ln north easterly on High St Carrville and continuing north easterly on A690 to West Rainton then southerly on Pittington Rd then south westerly on Pittington Ln to Broomside Ln to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8am on 18/7/21 and for the duration of the works anticipated to be up to 8 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. DATED: 15th July 2021
