ST. ANN'S ROAD AND FRINTON N15 - PROPOSED INTRODUCTION AND AMENDMENTS OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS, WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS, BUS STOPS, REMOVAL OF PARKING PROVISION AND AMENDMENTS TO SPEED TABLES

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to introduce a pedestrian crossing and relocate and convert an existing crossing, relocate existing speed tables under Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999,and proposes to amend parking provision and waiting and loading restrictions with the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, as detailed below.
2. It is proposed that, in relation to St. Ann's Road N15:-
(a) a zebra crossing with parallel pedestrian and cycle operation would be introduced, with the centre located outside No.
51 St. Ann's Road. The crossing would be supported with associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times, which would be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossings, extending outside Nos. 43 and 59 St. Ann's Road;
(b) an existing crossing located at its junctions with Ermine Road and Flower Pot Close would be converted to parallel pedestrian and cycle operation;
(c) 2 existing speed tables, would be relocated westward, at its junctions with Frinton Road and Ermine Road;
(d) the existing parking provision would be removed outside Nos. 59 to 67 St. Ann's Road inclusive, with the loss of 21.4 metres of parking provision;
(e) the existing waiting restrictions operating at any time on both sides of the road, would be extended outside Nos 41 and 43 St. Ann's Road and west of it's junction with Ermine Road
(f) a new bus stop would be introduced outside Nos. 59 to 67 St. Ann's Road and an existing bus stop would be relocated east of its junction with Flower Pot Close;
(g) new loading restrictions operating at any time would be introduced on both sides of Frinton Road, at its junction with St Ann's Road
3. Plans showing the location of the pedestrian crossing and tables may be inspected until 13th August 2021 during normal office working hours at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR, by appointment only, or can be viewed online at

4. Copies of the proposed Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Order and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR,
