APPLICATION FOR A MARINE LICENCE FOR REMEDIATION WORKS TO THE NEWPORT TRANSPORTER BRIDGE

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Part 4, Chapter 1, Section 68 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 that Newport City Council has applied to Natural Resources Wales, acting on behalf of the Licensing Authority, for a marine licence to undertake remediation works on the Newport Transporter Bridge comprising maintenance, repair, restoration and enhancement.

In light of the current public health situation surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) a hard copy of the application and supporting documents will not be available in a public place at this time.

Representations or objections in respect of the application should be made in writing to: Marine Licensing Team, Cardiff Permitting Service, Natural Resources Wales, 29 Newport Road, Cambria House, Cardiff, CF24 OTP, or e-mail

Representations or objections should be made within 28 days of the date of this notice, quoting reference: CML2127.

In your representation/objection please include an address to which correspondence may be sent.

Natural Resources Wales, acting on behalf of the Licensing Authority, will pass to the applicant a copy of any representation or objection received.
