Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex The Essex County Council Definitive Map Modification No. 678 Footpath 124 Witham (Braintree District) Order 2021
The above Order made on 10 June 2021 if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-Addlng a length of public footpath from the south east comer of the Town Park, in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres then turning generally south for a distance of approximately 320 metres, crossing the River Brain at Saul's Bridge to join Footpath 90. The width of the way is two metres.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM11QH, to arrive not later than Friday 20th August 2021, and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, CM1 1QH where copies will be available on request at a charge. Copies of the order and order map can be also be viewed on Essex Highways website at: www.essexhighways.org/transport-and-roads/getting-around/public-rights-of-way/public-path-notices.aspx and have also been sent to Braintree District Council where they may be viewed by prior arrangement. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.
(Cock Green Road, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Cock Green Road, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point 50m south of Rayne Road for a distance of 35m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/07/2021 to 23/07/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Gas connection and mains (S50-1693) works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Cock Green Road, Bannister Green, Rayne Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15/07/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 9) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32,35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce and revoke restrictions in the Braintree District as follows: to change the single yellow line 'No Waiting' restrictions outside No. 10 to No. 40 High Street, Halstead to 'No Waiting Friday 5am-8am Except Market Traders'; to introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' junction protections on the junction of High Street and Grangewood Avenue, Kelvedon; to extend the 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions at the junction of Swan Street and Heron Road, Kelvedon, replacing the 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 10am-11 am' restrictions; to introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' outside No. 84, Kelvedon House and Nos. 88 and 90 on High Street, Kelvedon and to introduce Residents Permit Parking Area MV1 on Mailings View, Braintree.
2. To amend Schedule 3 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to append the items set out in Schedule 1 of this notice.
3. To amend Schedule 5 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to append the items set out in Schedule 2 of this notice.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL810 305 with revision 1, TL855 182 with revision 1, TL865190 with revision 1, TL860187 with revision 1 and TL760 230 with revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on Monday 26th July 2021.

Application to the High Court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Bridge Street, Great Bardfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Bridge Street, Great Bardfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Northampton Meadow to its junction with Vine Street a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03158880544/2 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Dunmow Road, Oxen End, Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Dunmow Road From Bran End To Broadway, The Broadway, St Edmunds Lane, Vine Street, Crown Street, Bridge Street, Bridge End, Finchingfield Road, Bardfield Road, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Hawkins Hill, Hill Road, Thaxted Road, Great Sampford Road, Walden Road, Newbiggen Street, Town Street, Mill End, Orange Street, Beaumont Hill, The Causeway, North Street, Market Place, High Street, Braintree Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bulford Lane, Black Notley/Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bulford Lane, Black Notley/Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Witham Road to the junction with Mill Lane a distance of approximately 1190m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th July 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2309875 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Witham Road, The Green, The Street, Station Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lombard Street, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lombard Street, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Willows Road for a distance of approximately 450m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th July 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30057321367 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Willows Road, Cross Hill, Whinbush Farm Road, Daw Street, Mill Road, Wethersfield Road, Sculpins Lane, Lombard Street, Petches Bridge and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rifle Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rifle Hill, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 115m east of its junction with Notley Road for a distance approximately 80m in an easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th July 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30046650302 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Hillside Gardens, Notley Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
