(Foster Street, North Weald Bassett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Foster Street, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, across the frontage of Foster Street Farm for approximately 30m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/07/2021 to 16/07/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new foul sewer connection (S50-1672) works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via Mill Street, Hastingwood Road, Wind Hill, Workers Road.Tilegate Road, Threshers Bush and Hobbs Cross Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12/07/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 69, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 69, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Footpath 4/Hoe Lane, in a generally north easterly direction until its junction with Footpath 73, a total distance of approximately 478 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 01/07/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new site access for a residential development is constructed. The alternative route will be from the Footpath 4/Hoe Lane junction, east along Hoe Lane, north on Bridleway 29 and then north west along Footpath 5 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 01/07/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads) (Waterhouse Moor), Bush Fair, Harlow (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads (Waterhouse Moor), Bush Fair in the District of Harlow (the roads are currently 30mph by virtue of street lighting):
Road Description
Church Leys From its western junction with Tendring Road, generally southwards, eastwards and then northwards for its entire remaining length to its eastern junction with Tendring road, including all side roads.
St Andrews Meadow From its junction with Waterhouse Moor, northwards for its entire remaining length, including all side roads.
Stony Wood From its junction with Westfield, north westwards and then north eastwards for its entire remaining length, including all side roads.
Waterhouse Moor From its junction with Tendring Road, north westwards and then southwestwards for its entire remaining length to its junction with Westfield, including all side roads.
Westfield From its junction with Tripten Road, north eastwards for its entire remaining length to its junction with Waterhouse Moor, including all side roads.
Westfield From its junction with Tendring Road, generally north westwards and then south westwards and north eastwards for its entire remaining length to its junctions with Stony Wood and Tripton Road, including all side roads.
Data of operation: The Order will come into operation on 9 July 2021.

Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Nursery Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nursery Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Fairmeadside to its junction with Northfield a distance of approximately 460m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2021 for 40 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001056220 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Warren Hill, High Road, Upper Park and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Russell Road, Buckhurst Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Russell Road, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2021 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001062345 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via High Road, Palmersten Road, Westbury Road, Russell Road, Gladstone Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sheering Lower Road, Sheering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheering Lower Road, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Sheering Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008IBA3170Z-01 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Sheering Lower Road, Back Lane, The Street, Harlow Road, Sheering Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.8) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 8th July 2021, exact dates will be specified on o. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
