NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION AND CONSENT FOR DEMOLITION IN A CONSERVATION AREA
Proposed development at
The University of Worcester Severn Campus,
Hylton Road, Worcester.
I give notice that The University of Worcester has applied to Worcester City Council for planning permission and consent for demolition in a Conservation Area for Proposed infrastructure required for the future redevelopment of the University of Worcester Severn Campus; comprising non-vehicular access onto Henwick Road and Hardwicke Close (including emergency service vehicle access and flood emergency egress ramp, cycle routes and pedestrian 'wellbeing' routes), vehicle parking including electric vehicle and cycle parking, internal servicing and access roads linking to existing vehicular access from Hylton Road, green infrastructure, lighting, drainage, demolition of existing buildings and structures, new University store building, and associated works.
Any owner of the land* or tenant" who wishes to make representations about this application, should write to Worcester City Council (see address below) by 20 July 2021. '"owner" means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than seven years.
** "tenant" means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of which is comprised in the land.
Statement of owners' rights
The grant of planning permission does not affect owners' rights to retain or dispose of their property, unless there is some provision to the contrary in an agreement or lease.
