Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011 Middleton St George St Laurence (Diocese of Durham) The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft scheme providing for the sale of the closed church building of Middleton St George St Laurence and part of the churchyard for use as a single residential dwelling. A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected at Hills News Londis, 5 The Square, Middleton St George, DL2 1EG. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners’ website from the links at www.churchofengland.org or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours at the Church Commissioners’ office by applying to Emma Cosgrif. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request. . A drop-in session will take place on Tuesday 13th May 2014 at the Middleton St George Community Centre on Station Road, DL2 1JG between 2pm and 6:45pm at which staff of the Church Commissioners will be available to explain the impact of the proposed future use of the building and discuss any issues or concerns which those attending may raise. You may make representations for or against the draft scheme in writing to Emma Cosgrif, the Closed Churches Division, Church Commissioners, Church House, Great Smith Street, London SW1P 3AZ, or by email to emma.cosgrif@churchofengland.org to reach her not later than 5 June 2014.
