Temporary Closure of Higher Charminster, Charminster
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HIGHER CHARMINSTER, CHARMINSTER at the ford, a distance of approximately 10 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 21 June 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9 July 2021.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out the replacement of the footbridge alongside the ford.
On this occasion there will be no alternative route.

Temporary Closure of Public Bridleway, South Perrott
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along bridleway W42/4, from grid reference ST 476 064 to grid reference ST 478 064, a distance of approximately 165 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 5 July 2021 for a period of 6 months. But it can be, extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The order is required to allow for the Environment Agency Reservoirs Project works to take place.
There will be a locally signed diversion.

Temporary Closure of Chantmarle Lane, Chantmarle
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHANTMARLE LANE, CHANTMARLE at the railway bridge and either side for a distance of approximately 300 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 June 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 August 2021 This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to renew water main. On this occasion there will be no alternative route.
