Traffic Management Scheme - Various Roads, Swanage 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. When the Order comes into operation on 25 June 2021 the effect of the Order will be to formalise restrictions along specified lengths of the following roads in Swanage:
- High Street
- Institute Road
- Mermond Place
- Station Road

3. Due to Covid-19, it is not possible for Dorset Council to have documents on deposit for viewing at County Hall. If you require more information, please contact us by emailing

4. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose.
