WALLISDOWN ROAD - CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2021

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL WALLISDOWN ROAD - CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
* road closed to all vehicles (to be undertaken in three phases)
* no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading will be permitted at any time.
WHERE & WHEN: Wallisdown Road from east of its junction with Benbow Crescent to Mountbatten Roundabout
* Phase 1: from east of the junction with Benbow Crescent to Lyon Road (entrance to Discovery Court) - from 7am on Saturday 26 June to 6pm on Sunday 27 June 2021
* Phase 2: from Lyon Road to Leyland Road - night­time closures
From 7pm on Tuesday 29 June until 6am on Wednesday 30 June 2021 From 7pm on Wednesday 30 June until 6 am on Thursday 1 July 2021
From 7pm on Thursday 1 July until 6 am on Friday 2 July 2021
* Phase 3: Leyland Road to Mountbatten Roundabout -from 7am on Saturday 3 July to 6pm on Sunday 4 July 2021
WHY: to facilitate resurfacing of the carriageway for a section of Wallisdown Road as part of the Wallisdown Corridor Improvements on behalf of BCP Council
ACCESS: Emergency services access will be maintained. Access to businesses and for residents maintained depending on site safety.
DIVERSION ROUTES:
* Ringwood Road, Herbert Avenue, Alder Road, Wallisdown Road
* Ringwood Road, Wim borne Road, Kin son Road, Wallisdown Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this Traffic Order.
