Parish of Milverton Temporary Closure of Parsonage Lane
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Parsonage Lane for a distance of 60 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water need to access the manhole in the carriageway due to root ingress. They need to close the road due to being narrow track road.

The Order becomes effective on 24th June 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 30th June 2021 until 30th June 2021 between the hours of (08:00 -17:30) for a total of 1 day. Please visit
