Public to be consulted on New Residential Development in Leyburn
The developers of a proposed new residential development for Leyburn are inviting members of the public to consider their plans to develop this site which is located off Moor Road in Leyburn and is within the Strategic Development Growth Area of Lower Wensleydale.North Yorkshire based property development company, Mulberry Homes (Yorkshire) Limited, have been in discussions with senior officers from Richmondshire District Council and will shortly be submitting plans for a new residential development opportunity on land at Hill Top Farm which will assist in delivering the council’s requirements for residential development opportunities in the district, which will include a significant number of affordable housing units. The plan’s aim is to deliver the council’s objectives of promoting housing in Leyburn, which is the principal settlement of Lower Wensleydale. A public exhibition showing the plans is to be held in the Oak Room of Thornborough Hall on Tuesday 20th May between 2 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
