CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS HELDER STREET, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of BT to update equipment and improve broadband quality, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Helder Street, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time on the south-west side of Helder Street between the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 13 and the common boundary of Nos. 14 and 15 Helder Street.

3. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 01 June 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate equipment upgrade works on behalf of BT they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict parking in Hurst View Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced operating "at any time' in the following locations on the north-west (odd-numbered) side of the road:-

(a) Opposite Nos. 4 to 10 Hurst View Road;

(b) Opposite Nos. 20 to 24 Hurst View Road;

(c) Opposite Nos. 30 to 36 Hurst View Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 16 June 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate equipment upgrade works on behalf of BT they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict parking in Mansfield Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced operating "at any time" on the north (odd-numbered) side of Mansfield Road at the following locations:-

(a) Outside Nos. 9 to 15 Mansfield Road;

(b) Outside Nos. 37 to 41 Mansfield Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 17 June 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED, THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CHURCH ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to enable building development works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit parking in Church Road, Upper Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, five limited waiting parking bays and a disabled parking bay on the north-west side of Church Road, Upper Norwood, outside Nos. 52 to 64, will be temporarily removed and replaced with double yellow line restrictions and kerb blips prohibiting waiting and loading at any time.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 10 June 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 12 months. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 ROLLESTON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas service connection they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Rolleston Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Rolleston Road will be closed outside No. 2a Rolleston Road.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be via Bynes Road, Sanderstead Road and Brighton Road as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 01 June 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately six days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE CROYDON (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF STOPPING, LOADING AND WAITING) AND (FREE PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. V10) ORDER 20-
THE CROYDON (ON-STREET CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.V11) ORDER 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 51 Capri Road, Croydon, Nos. 42 and 120 Fairholme Road, Croydon, No. 45 Falkland Park Avenue, South Norwood, No. 4 Goldwell Road, Thornton Heath, No. 68 Headcorn Road, Thornton Heath, No. 1 Heather Way, South Croydon, No. 69 Hunter Road, Thornton Heath, No. 35 Kings Walk, South Croydon, No. 7 Kingswood Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 68 Kynaston Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 26 Kynaston Crescent, Thornton Heath, No. 32 Lincoln Road, South Norwood and No. 46 Quadrant Road, Thornton Heath.

(b)
Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

(c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.


2. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected by appointment between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. Further information and copies of the proposed Order and plans may be obtained by email from the Parking Design Team (email address below).

3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design Team, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA or by emailing Parking.
