Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U73045, Stretton Sugwas Village Road, Stretton Sugwas, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U73045, Stretton Sugwas Village Road, Stretton Sugwas, outside West Vew Village road to outside New Cottages. Grid Ref: 346373/242715. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A480 onto the C1197 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to overhead renewal of a faulty aerial cable worksand the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of June 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
