COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER [20 ]]
SECTION 226(1)(A) OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 AND THE ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT 1981
Notice is hereby given that the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames made on [INSERT DATE] the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (Cambridge Road Estate) Compulsory Purchase Order [20 ] under section 226(1)(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of facilitating the carrying out of development, redevelopment or improvement of that land which will contribute to the promotion and/or improvement of the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area by enabling residential development comprising affordable and market dwellings, community, retail and commercial floorspace, open space, recreational space, an energy centre, car parking and landscaping
A copy of the Order and of the accompanying Map may be seen between the hours of [9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday] at Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, [ADDRESS to follow].
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, National Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW before close of business on [INSERT DATE] and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
In submitting an objection, it should be noted that the personal data and correspondence relating to any objection will be passed to the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in order that they can contact you directly to address the issues raised. If any person does not wish personal data to be forwarded to the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, they should state why when submitting the objection and the Secretary of State will copy the representations to the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames with the name and address removed and if there is to be a local Public Inquiry, the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight as a result.
