Notice of Making
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1262 From C1294 To Cherry Orchard Lane, Much Marcle, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1262 From C1294 To Cherry Orchard Lane, Much Marcle, outside Harold Farm for approximately 800 metres. Grid Ref: 364302/232456. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1301 onto the C1295, onto the C1298, onto the B4224, onto the C1262 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to tree cutting and overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 9th of June 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
