Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Worcestershire County Council (A449 Malvem Road, Powick) (40 M.P.H Speed Limit) Order 2000 (Revocation) (A449/A4440 Powick Roundabout, Worcester (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2008 (Revocation) and (A449 Malvern Road, A4440 Powick Hams Roundabout and A4440 Hams Way, Powick and Worcester) (40 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2021
On 1J May 2021 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to to impose a 40 mph Speed Limit on the following roads in Powick and Worcester -
A449 Malvern Road from its junction with UC62029 Old Road to its junction with A4440 Powick Hams Roundabout from its junction with A4440 Powick Hams Roundabout to a point 157m east of its junction with Kings End Road; from a point 166m west of its junction with C2027 Old Malvern Road to a point 200m west of its junction with UC62022 Hospital Lane. A4440 Powick Hams Roundabout In its entirety. A4440 Hams Way from its junction with A4440 Powick Hams Roundabout for a distance of 227m in a westerly direction. There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

Proposed Order to close that part of C2158 Netherwood Lane from its junction with C2158 Church Lane to its junction with U42400 Oddingley Lane, Reason: Surface Dressing by WCC Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2158 Netherwood Lane, C2032 Crowle Green, C2032 Old Turnpike Road C2032 Lower Crowle Road to Shaftland Cross, C2077 Trench Lane, U42212 Skergens Lane C2076 Newland Road to Plough Lane, C2158 Church Lane and vice versa Maximum duration: 18 Months. (Link Footpath FS0099 Worcester Rack Alley, Worcester)[Temporary Closure) Order 2021 Proposed Order to close that part of F50099 Worcester Rack Alley from its junction with B4205 The Butts to its junction with U53110 Angel Row. Reason: Demolition and construction works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Pedestrian Diversion via Angel Street - U53110 Angel Row, U53109 Angel Place, B4205 The Butts and vice versa Pedestrian Diversion via B4205 The Butts: B4205 The Butts and vice versa. Order made: Closure 1 - to close that part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with C2073 Haye Lane to its junction with A4536 Blackpole Road (slip road). Closure 2 - to close that part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with U41080 Bevere Lane to its junction with A449 Ombersley Road Roundabout.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by Worcestershire County Council.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Closure 1 - (Northbound diversion) - A449 Worcester Northern Link (slip road), A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road; (Southbound diversion) - A449 Main Road (slip road). Closure 2 - A449 Main Road (slip road), A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Ombersley Road, A38 Roman Way, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Droitwich Road, C2281 Checketts Lane, A449 Ombersley Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 31 May 2021. [Cypress Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021
Proposed Order to close that part of Cypress Street from its junction with U50216 Alma Street to its junction with U50215 Crown Street. Reason: Installation of Vehicle Crossing by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U50216 Alma Street, U50216 Summer Street, U50215 Crown Street and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing: 22 June 2021. [Prickley Green, Martley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2021
Order made: to close that part of Prickley Green from its junction with U64609 Witton Hill to its junction with C2243 Home Lane.
Reason: Lay New Ducting by A Cones Ltd. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2243 Home Lane, C2243 Wichenford, U64609 Witton Hill and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
3 days Commencing: 1 June 2021.

(U51000 St Georges Lane North, Worcester) [Temporary Closure) Order 2021 Order made: to close that part of U51000 St Georges Lane North from its junction with A38 to its junction with U5100 Merrimans Hill Road. Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A38 Barbourne Road, A38 Droitwich Road, B4482 Bilford Road, B4482 Astwood Road, B4450 Astwood Road, U51000 Green Lane, U5100 Merrimans Hill Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
4 days Commencing: 1 June 2021.

[A4440 Temeside Way, Powick, and other adjoining roads) [Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2021 Order made: to impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on A4440 Temeside Way, Powick, and other adjoining roads as follows:
a) A4440 Temeside Way in both directions from the Roundabout with A4440 The Village to the Roundabout with A38 Worcester Road.

b) A4440 Hams Way from A4440The Village Roundabout for a distance of 1200 metres in a westerly direction.

c) A449 Malvern Road in both directions from A4440 The Village Roundabout to its Junction with U62029 Old Road.

d) A38 Worcester Road/Bath Road in both directions from A4440 The Village Roundabout to A38 St Peters Roundabout.

e) A4440 Broomhall Way for a distance of 700 metres in a westerly direction towards A38 Worcester Road Roundabout.

Reason: To facilitate WCC Major Scheme to improve
Worcester Southern Link Road.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
280 days Commencing: 2 June 2021.
