ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Hinton Waldrist Bridleways 250/9/20 & 250/9/10 & 114/6/30, Footpath 250/1/30 Date of Order: 24 May 2021 Coming into force: 1 June 2021 This Order is being introduced because of grant funded water environment work and tree reduction which is anticipated to be completed on 1 December 2021. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath 250/1/30 and Bridleways 250/9/20, 250/9/10 and 114/6/30 (River Thames/Duxford area). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
There are no suitable alternative diversion routes available. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8817/RAG)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Appleford, Appleford Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 24 May 2021 Coming into force: 3 June 2021 This Order is being introduced because of rail bridge maintenance work which is anticipated to be completed 20 June 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding in Appleford Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via B4016, Church Street, Harwell Road, Milton Road, A4130, Lady Grove, B4016 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8832/AC)_

Wytham, Thames Path Date of Order: 4 May 2021 Works commence: 7 June 2021 This Order was introduced because of environment improvements works which are anticipated to take up to 5 months to complete. The original start date of 10 May has been delayed until 7 June. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the footpath northwest of the weir on Seacourt Stream. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is a proposed parallel diversion route signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of
6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8506/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kingston Bagpuize, Footpath No.268/7 Date of Order: 23 November 2020 Came into force: 1 December 2020 This Order is was introduced because of the erection of 8 residential dwellings affecting the public footpath. The works are anticipated to be completed 28.2.22. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath 268/7 between Oxford Road and Abingdon Road. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The proposed diversion route is via the two roads. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until 28 February 2022 or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8167/AC)
