The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Skirmett Road, Hambleden in the Parish of Hambleden CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Skirmett Road for approximately 430m. Alternative route: Skirmett Road, Fingest Lane, Frieth Road, Chalkpit Lane, Oxford Road, West Street, Henley Road, Harleyford and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach new customer connection works take place commencing on 23 May 2021 between 08:00 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 May 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: Bigmore Lane, Marlow Road, Stokenchurch Road, Bolter End Lane, Piddington Lane, Chipps Hill, Wycombe Road, Old Dashwood Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Instalcom on behalf of SSE HV cable installation from Wycombe Road junction to Bigmore Lane works take place commencing on 1 June 2021 between 07:00 and 17:00. This will be completed in 100m lengths at a time. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 June 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Openreach will collaborate under this road closure to complete their works on 14/6/21 only, road will be closed for the duration of the works.
