Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4216 New Street Ledbury Temporary HGV Restriction Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by HGVs on the B4216 New Street Ledbury. Grid Ref: 370325/236842 to 371123/237575. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Leadon Way onto the A438 Hereford Road
The said restriction is required due to insufficient road width for HGVs during water connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on Sunday 6th June 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
