Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1223 Kerrys Gate To Canns Hill Road, Abbeydore, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1223 Kerrys Gate To Canns Hill Road, Abbeydore, near Forty Acres. Grid Ref: 339733/231680. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1223 onto the C1222 onto the C1225 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to asset renewal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 2nd of June 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
