Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under Its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1001 River Teme To A4113, Walford Leintwardine, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1001 River Teme To A4113, Walford Leintwardine, 20 metres either side of Buckton Bridge. Grid Ref: 338625/273068. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1001 onto the A4113, onto the C1001 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to bridge deck replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of June 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works areexpected to be completed within 14 weeks.
