(Stones Green Road, Great Oakley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stones Green Road, Great Oakley in the District of Tending, from its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31 st May 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5001ESS00602 - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd. An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Wix Road - Stones Green - Zc12, Clacton Road, Harwich Road, Oakley Road, Wix Road, The Avenue, Stones Green Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
